This is an easy exercise actually. You do the beginning of a Turkish Getup by raising your hand to push the covers off, and pushing your torso through the roof baby! Then you do an oblique twist to “swing” your legs over the side of the bed. You must be very careful to swing in the right direction to easily allow gravity to carry your feet to the ground, and allow you to either do a depth jump, or a box squat depending on the height of your bed.
That wasn’t so hard was it?
Ok, now do this at 5 am, and get your butt in gear for a morning workout. Training in the morning is the best solution to your new year’s goal of shedding pounds. A morning routine is much easier to follow then an evening routine, and will also be more effective overtime.
So, the welcome back rule of today: Workout in the morning, and get on a set schedule!
