Alright! This new blog topic, SUPPLEMENTS, has taken over on Wednesday! This blog will discuss current and popular supplements in the world, and give you a reason to try them, or run like hell!!!
I will start with my ONLY recommendations that are currently available.
1) L-Glutamine. Simply a must for all athletes.
2) Whey Protein. NEVER AFTER A WORKOUT WITHOUT 4X THE CARBS ADDED TO IT BY GRAMS. GOT IT? NEVER!!!! I DON”T CARE WHAT THE LABEL SAYS. DON’T DO IT. With that said, this is great protein, and a high protein shake is appropriate about 90 minutes after training.
3) Creatine Monohydrate. This is a fantastic tool. Use it, and never abuse it… you will gain weight and strength…. plain and simple.
4) Green Tea, Vitamin C, and Qeurcetin. These are fantastic antioxidants… get them in your diet.
5) Essential Fatty Acids. Simply huge for the American Diet. We need this for a variety of reasons, but mostly because it decreases the likelyhood of inflammatory disease (like heart disease)
