Traveling Nutrition

   It’s a statement I hear all the time…

"I know what to eat… BUT…"

   And very often, the "BUT" centers around travelling.  Whether you’re an athlete needing to travel for competition, a business executive traveling for work, or busy with your family, carting them all over for their busy schedules… sports, vacations, jobs, etc., the fact is we’re all very busy people!

   And in our24/7 lifestyles we typically rely on simple, fast solutions for eating (which very rarely are good solutions).

   Here’s San Luis Obispo’s Stephanie Nunes discussing some simple but very useful strategies for combating the rigors of traveling and still maintaining a healthy eating plan.  It centers around athletes traveling for competition but is still very relevant to everyone trying to eat healthy in their busy lifestyles…

 

 

   Put some of these tips into play…  Set aside one hour every Sunday to plan and prepare some of your basic travel meals that you’ll use during the week.

   Remember, whether you’re trying to win the gold or lose body fat, the food that you put into your mouth will be the major difference!
