Why move at all?

Why do you make the effort to move?

The older I become the more my thinking about training and lifestyle is in terms of Performance, Health and Longevity.  Each of these metrics can be influenced in different ways.  Performance is great, but to maximize performance levels for specific activity will likely not allow for movement that will maximize longevity and health.  At Athlon Elite, we can train you to perform like a madwoman in the high jump and triple jump ("The Tigers rolled to the PAC 7 road win when Cara Vernacchia took the high jump (5-4 1/4) and triple jump (33-8)", see video of her training at Athlon Elite below) but this may not be best for health and longevity.  For maximal health, we can randomize various movements for specific adaptations but you won’t high jump quite as high as if we are aiming specifically for performance.

Finally, longevity falls into another category all together.  Again, we see it is all about choices.

Most of us just want to balance things out with respect to the metrics of performance, health and longevity.  Athlon Eilte is ideal for this type of outcome.  Let us know your goals and let us help you establish new goals from time to time.

Oh yeah, and all the free Vitamin D you can stand today at Athlon Elite!
