Veni, vidi, vici…
…I came, I saw, I conquered! A phrase used by Julius Caesar in a letter to the Roman Senate to describe his dominant victory in the Battle of Zela, as well as to demonstrate to the Senate his military prowess (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veni,_vidi,_vici). In a phone call to us here at Athlon Elite this last Saturday night, Noe could have quoted this famous statement once again, having kicked some serious tail at the Hollywood Park Casino in a Muay Thai kickboxing match against Natalay Jerez. Noe scored an unanimous decision over Jerez, 30-28, 30-28, 29-27!! Noe has used Athlon Elite as her training grounds to prepare for her last three fights and claims to be stronger, faster and sharper than ever, which is why she is our Spartan of the Week! Great job Noe, we’re proud of you!! You have definitely joined the ranks of the… “ELITE!”
Oh…heck yay,I got the “W”…I think I deserve a cookie.
But of course I could have never done it without Ryans motivational pep talks, Richs knowledge and dedication to a good workout, and Daves constant nagging…jk.
The Athlon Elite trainers have built an excellent foundation for me to work from. It has allowed me to focus better on practicing the art and skill of Muay Thai seperately from my conditioning. When I go into the ring I can rest assured that all of the elements that make up a good athlete are a solid part of my foundation and the rest is all about how I’m going to play the “fight game”.
THANKS for being on my team Athlon, and for pushing me to be my very best all the time.
