If you’re not familiar with this story, you need to be.

It’s the story of Operation Redwing and the lost heroes of SEAL Team 10.

I share this with you today, because this is what our Pushups For Charity fundraiser coming up in 3 weeks is all about.

Watch it now (especially the last minute of it) and then come back to this…

That was powerful stuff. I don't know how Matt Lauer kept a straight face. I tear-up just watching it on the computer.  I just started reading his book Lone Survivor and I already recommend.

Unfortuntely, there's nothing that can be done for those men of SEAL Team 10 now.  However, there are still so, so many more that come back from battle with sever injuries and need our help.  We at Athlon are committed to raising as much money as possible for these brave men and women that have fought for our country with Pushups For Charity on April 16th.

If you haven't signed up yet or offered to donate then now's the time.  Get over to the website now, www.SLOPushupsForCharity.com, and get involved.  You can either join our team of "average Jane's and Joe's" and do some pushups on April 16th and raise money for these wounded warriors or you can click on the Donate button and make a small contribution directly to the Wounded Warrior Project.

100% of proceeds from our efforts will go directly to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Below is a great inspirational video that's cool to watch.  If you know me at all you know I wouldn't normally post a country music video to the Athlon blog but this one's actually pretty good and the message at the beginning and end is awesome and needs to be heard:

That's what it's all about… believe in yourself and keep moving forward.  Whatever you do, don't give up, just keep pushing forward and you'll achieve your goals.

Finally, if you haven't already read the short story below about President George H.W. Bush and his support of Pushups For Charity then scroll on down a little further and watch what he has to say about Pushups For Charity.

Until next time,

Ryan
